In Pakistan, #COVID19 poses an additional threat to the poor people who depend on daily wages to put food on the table for their families. Those who used to earn a living as domestic laborers, shopkeepers, and street vendors have lost their jobs and are forced to stay at home.
They need to be protected, too, from the virus and from the threat of starvation. We at Humanity Help, with the help of our families and volunteers, have been preparing groceries for 400 families and the reliefs are good for a month.
Our team is ready to start the distribution of food at the doorsteps of our identified vulnerable families, especially in Lahore.
